ARCHIVE NODE
Archive Node is a blockchain project, focused on developers who need to have access to the data stored on the Ethereum network. Imagine having access to a huge amount of data, from all the transactions made, and being able to select only what you want.
Today, basically, is very expansive to do it, which means that only very well funded companies manage to pay the price. So Archive Node provide access for free, to help independent developers and small companies.
The Project
As part of the brief, I needed to come up with something using a dark color scheme, that could also be related with technology and communicate with the developers community.
When I think about this project, it’s hard not to relate to the magnificent image of the Starling birds flying. A huge network of individual birds, communicating between them, flying together without colliding to each other and creating this beautiful shapes in the sky.
To bring this concept to life, I used a mesh of dots, like a network, and started playing around to create shapes giving more relevance to some parts of this mesh, as if you are trying to pull from that only what you want. As a result we have a modern and dark theme, different patterns, some kind of pixelate look and feel that can be easily related to technology and a responsive logo with different applications for different situations.
