Onboarding Experience
To become an EBANX's merchant, you have to fill a long and detailed form. We all know this isn't a super fun moment, so we tried to give our clients a better experience.
Also, we had one big goal that it was to create an onboarding process where the merchant didn't have to contact a salesperson, after filling the form they should be able to start processing payments. During the developing and testing, we discover that this would be very complex to do it, because of compliance issues. So instead, we create a way to filter the clients and help the Business Developers to focus on real business opportunities.
Simple and Friendly
Our merchant onboarding was a long form with a lot of important questions, so to guide the user through the entire process in just a few minutes, we’ve used less formal texts and a simple and friendly interface.
Easy going
Displaying one question at a time helps to create a point of attention. This way, the user has no distractions, gets the job done faster and without wrong answers.
Focus on the real opportunities
There are some market segments and business models that because of compliance rules, EBANX can't accept as a client, so, it's important to know which ones are the real opportunities and avoid spending time and resources with companies that are not a business fit.
This helps to set the client expectation and keep the sales pipeline clean, with only real business opportunities.
